Our Provider Spotlight of the Quarter is Igor Sister, M.D.!

Dr. Igor Sister works as a hospitalist with Benchmark at both Palomar Health locations (Escondido and Poway) and has been practicing medicine there for three years. He was born in Lvov, Ukraine and was inspired to pursue medicine by his father, who was a doctor himself. Dr. Sister graduated from medical school in 1987 and first began practicing medicine in Russia, and then moved to Israel before settling here in the United States. His favorite part of the job is getting to interact with patients, and he loves being able to use his knowledge and experience to help them with the health issues they have.

When he isn’t at the hospital, Dr. Sister loves being able to spend time with his family, and his hobbies include tennis, skiing, chess, reading, and watching movies.
